Delivering approximately 40,000 meals of rice, the staple food, for the first time to the isolated Islamic communities facing a serious situation in the international community.
International Non-governmental Organization PEACE. (abbreviated as ingo PEACE., headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan) has long been appealing to moral leaders of various religious communities in Myanmar and each country regarding the necessity of establishing a new international solidarity based on humanitarian assistance — the Humanitarian Support Project for Muslim Community in Rakhine State, Myanmar 2025 — aimed at resolving the long-standing issues faced by the Muslim communities in Rakhine State, Myanmar, which have posed serious challenges to the international community.
This time, this project, with the humanitarian understanding of the relevant authorities, has been led by the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization (MIDO) and the ingo PEACE. It represents a new form of humanitarian international solidarity built through shared awareness of global challenges.
Furthermore, Global Sync Foundation, a humanitarian organization based in the United States, has also joined the project as an international cooperation partner. With this partnership, we will further advance international solidarity aimed at promoting humanitarian assistance for all humankind, transcending religion, culture, and national borders.

“Support that Connects Lives”
— Delivering Rice to the Islamic Communities in Rakhine State
On November 14, 2025, in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar’s Rakhine State, this project successfully carried out the first food delivery operation to the long-isolated Islamic communities that have had a significant impact on the international community, delivering approximately 40,000 meals (around 3 tons) of rice, the staple food, safely to the area.
In these Islamic areas, northern part of Rakhine State, many residents are suffering from chronic food shortages and malnutrition. In particular, women, children, and the elderly — especially those in vulnerable positions — have been facing conditions where “they could not even secure one meal a day.” Voices filled with emotion have been received from local residents saying, “We have been waiting for the day when we could once again eat rice.”

“Crossing Pathless Roads to Deliver Hope”
This initiative was implemented as part of the activities of the Humanitarian Support Project, in which countries and religions cooperate and unite for humanitarian assistance. With the humanitarian understanding of the relevant authorities, a new aid route was successfully opened.
The Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Organization (MIDO) and ingo PEACE., in cooperation with local religious organizations, successfully delivered rice directly to villages in the Muslim community after ensuring safety conditions on the ground.

“Reconciliation Beyond Faith”
Prior to this initiative, on November 5, 2025, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV of the Roman Catholic Church issued a statement regarding Myanmar, emphasizing the importance of solidarity that transcends religious divisions.
“Brothers and sisters, I invite you to join me in prayer for all who are tried by the violence of war in different parts of the world. I am thinking in particular of Myanmar and I urge the international community not to forget the Burmese people and to provide the necessary humanitarian assistance.”

The Pope’s message resonates deeply with the principles of this project, which seeks to build peace through interfaith dialogue. His words have provided a significant impetus for fostering international solidarity that transcends religious and cultural boundaries.
Furthermore, this wave of international solidarity grounded in the fundamental principle of “human dignity” has reached the Republic of Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim-majority nation. Dr. Marsudi Syuhud, a moral leader and the Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama – Indonesia’s largest Islamic organization – has formally expressed his support for this project. A meeting to discuss concrete avenues of collaboration for the project is planned to take place in Indonesia.
Together with leaders who embody the wisdom and moral guidance of the religious sphere, ingo PEACE. will continue to advance international solidarity that transcends religion, culture, and national boundaries.
“Empathy Beyond Borders”
— U.S. Humanitarian NGO Global Sync Foundation Joins the Project

〜 U.S. humanitarian organization joins Myanmar relief efforts across religion and culture 〜
Global Sync Foundation, a humanitarian organization based in the United States of America, has formally joined the “Humanitarian Support Project for Muslim Community in Rakhine State, Myanmar 2025,” jointly led by MIDO and ingo PEACE., and has cooperated in realizing this humanitarian relief effort for the Muslim communities.
Global Sync Foundation is a private non-governmental humanitarian organization (NGO) that extends its helping hand across religious and cultural boundaries to regions affected by conflict, disaster, and poverty around the world. In addition to immediate food and medical assistance, it focuses on education, livelihood reconstruction, and community empowerment, with the mission of realizing “a society in which all people can live with dignity.”
This participation marks a historic first step for an American humanitarian organization to provide support to the Muslim communities of Rakhine State, where the effects of religious conflict remain — a symbolic realization of the philosophy of “coexistence benefit” that transcends borders and faiths.
Through collaboration with Global Sync Foundation, ingo PEACE. aims to expand the circle of international civil cooperation and realize comprehensive humanitarian support across the areas of food, healthcare, education, and regional reconstruction.
“World Humanitarian Support Promotion Organization”
— Establishing a New Hub for Civil Collaboration
A new civil coordination body, the World Humanitarian Support Promotion Organization, has been established as the official liaison organization for humanitarian support.
Mr. Khual Lian Kam (former Representative Director of ingo PEACE.) has been appointed as its inaugural representative.
The organization will promote Myanmar’s economic recovery projects centered on humanitarian assistance, linking interfaith reconciliation and cooperation with the reconstruction of local communities. Functioning as the core institution for international civil cooperation toward recovery, peace, and economic rebuilding, it will also advance the convening of the Peace Future Council and promote the development and implementation of humanitarian projects under international civil collaboration.
