The International Non-governmental Organization PEACE. (abbreviated as ingo PEACE.) has entered into a comprehensive alliance agreement with the Center for Peace and Reconciliation (abbreviated as CPR), the leading local institution promoting peace in Myanmar. This partnership is based on a shared goal of advancing sustainable peacebuilding and international development support in the country. Moving forward, both organizations will engage in strategic collaboration in areas such as international cooperation and project development.

On this occasion, our organization has concluded a “Comprehensive Alliance Agreement” with the Center for Peace and Reconciliation (CPR), the central organization for reconstruction and development support in Myanmar.

This agreement clearly states that both institutions will promote cooperation based on international coordination strategies, with shared objectives such as “permanent peacebuilding,” “sustainable social development,” and “realization of human security.”

Details of the Formal Agreement

As part of the concrete agreement, a Business Council is being established to serve as the consultation hub for Myanmar’s reconstruction and development efforts involving various countries. It was decided that this council will serve as the core of the Myanmar Reconstruction and Development Project, promoting international collaboration that contributes to project creation across diverse industrial sectors. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to establish a fund as a foundation for international coordination strategies. This fund will also serve as a continuous financial source for future-oriented projects aimed at building cooperative relationships and implementing social initiatives in multifaceted areas such as culture, education, and technology.

The framework also envisions participation by companies and organizations as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, including donations, sponsorships, and technical support. The fund is expected to function as a sustainable model of international cooperation.

Additionally, ingo PEACE. has formally agreed to take on the role of international organizer from outside Myanmar. This includes liaising with partner organizations and companies, providing technical and development support, managing public relations, and acting as a global bridge for the provision of aid supplies, technology, and human resources.

About the Center for Peace and Reconciliation (CPR)

The Center for Peace and Reconciliation (CPR) has long played a central role in supporting peace negotiations and political dialogue in Myanmar, promoting conflict resolution through dialogue. In particular, CPR emphasizes connecting domestic and international stakeholders and building trust to coordinate peaceful solutions aimed at ending long-standing armed conflicts.

Moreover, as a specialized institution supporting historical reconciliation, social inclusion (creating a society where everyone can participate beyond divisions), and institutional development, CPR serves as a bridge for the diverse voices shaping Myanmar’s future. The organization’s knowledge and experience in supporting democratic processes and sustainable nation-building strongly resonate with ingo PEACE.’s vision of a “coexistent society,” which led to the signing of this agreement.
