As a symbol of peace and solidarity, tree planting ceremonies were held at various locations in Yangon. The events took place at three domestic locations, including a gathering with religious leaders for discussions on peaceful cooperation and solidarity, as well as a ceremony in People’s Square and Park, where young people, the future leaders, gathered.
Participants, including members from various religious communities, the chairperson and representative director of ingo PEACE., and members of the ingo PEACE. Myanmar headquarters, came together to plant “saplings of hope” in the ground, entrusting their wishes for the future.
This tree planting symbolizes the intention of solidarity between Japan and Myanmar and serves as a step toward a new peace. The wishes embodied in these saplings will grow as a symbol of solidarity, becoming the seeds of coexistence that transcend borders and bear fruit.
